The demand for technological solutions is substantial in today's age, especially for the deaf community. Researchers have been diligently working on this challenge, with promising developments in voice recognition technologies. However, there's currently no commercially available solution for sign recognition. Hand gestures play a crucial role in communication for visually impaired individuals. To address this, we propose a computer-based solution where users can activate their cameras and perform sign language gestures. The system will then detect and display the interpreted signs to the user. This approach holds great potential, offering a means for regular individuals to better understand the communication of differently-abled individuals. Nevertheless, it is essential to address issues such as accuracy, real-time processing, privacy, and cultural variations in the development of such a system. Additionally, involving the communities affected by these challenges in the development process will contribute to a more effective and widely accepted solution.
